We’re looking to build a small local (to Austin) team of for a Greenfield
web development project. Below is a short job description describing.

Note: We’ve written this job posting towards Java developers, but there’s an
outside chance that we might choose to implement in Rails / Ruby, and so I
wanted to post to this list. If you're a strong Rails / Ruby developer and
are looking for full-time gig, please let us know.

Agile Web Developer Position.

Technologies:

Agile – We are big agile buffs, and looking for someone with the ability to
deliver quality, unit tested solutions.
-- Must have experience working in an agile environment of some flavor.
-- Must have practical TDD experience

Java – Must have solid java experience (If you don't understand thread
safety, don't apply)
Web Development – Must have solid Spring MVC and AJAX skills.

OO Design and common design patterns – Must be able to solve problems in a
simple, neat and organized way.

SQL (Oracle) – Strong SQL skills required.

Experience with Spring, Ibatis, JBoss, UNIX/Linux a strong plus.

Experience in working with data-driven systems and a preference for backend
java development is a big plus.
