JOB DESCRIPTION
 
- Designing and implementing significant pieces of our cutting edge SOA/ROA services and applications. Most components will be built in Ruby/Rails and/or Java.
 
- Integrating and optimizing platform services to interop effectively with existing and future applications
 
- Researching, evaluating and implementing the latest SaaS/Web standards
 
- Researching and prototyping widget-based architectures to leverage social products like Twitter, Facebook, iGoogle and others
 
- Collaborating with our Product Management Team defining product features and requirements
 
- Working closely with the QE team to ensure enterprise quality software
 
HIRING QUALIFICATIONS
 
- Experience with multiple programming languages required, fearlessness with new technologies a plus
 
- Experience with Java and/or Ruby/Rails required, Python/Perl/Smalltalk/LISP a plus
 
- Experience with SaaS/REST highly desirable, SOA/ROA experience a plus
 
- Experience with Javascript/AJAX client development a plus
 
- Experience implementing Highly Scalable, Highly Available web applications a plus
 
- Experience implementing the OpenSocial standard a plus
