[Jobs] Hiring: Entrepreneurial Rails developer for funded startup in Austin

Hi everyone,

I'm hiring. I made an announcement at the last Austin on Rails meetup, but I
thought I send out message here in case any potential candidates weren't
able to make it.

FeedMagnet is a funded, early stage startup with a focus on building simple,
elegant, and powerful web apps that help businesses adapt to the challenges
and opportunities presented by social media.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, bad-ass web application developer to
join the team and take the lead role developing our initial product set. We
value finding the right person who is a cultural fit over finding someone
with experience using specific tools or technologies.

While I'm open to using a PHP framework, they are all pretty much knock-offs
of Rails and I am fairly convinced that Rails is the way I want to go. I
have a prototype already built, and have interest in the product from
potential customers including Macy's, Best Buy, and Toyota.

The ideal candidate will have experience building powerful and usable web
apps. Experience with CouchDB is a plus. Design experience is also a plus,
but a passion for usability and interface simplicity is not optional. Among
other perks is the ability to work from home or wherever.
