We have several positions available, UI/frontend focused and backend
developers. Frontend developer needs UI/usability skills, knowledge of
XHTML, CSS-layouts, JavaScript (we use Prototype) knowledge and
experience with Rails views and controllers at the least. For a
backend developer, knowledge of Rails underpinnings, Ruby in general,
and SQL (we're always looking at Rails logs for slow queries) is
desirable. For either positions, writing/maintaining tests
(Test::Unit) will be required.

We want developers who are self-motivated to create beautiful and easy
to use interfaces. We take pride in not only the product but also the
code that runs it. Our environment is fast paced, with releases
occurring every 2-4 months. We have two primary Rails applications:
the product, which is an installed Rails app, and the community, which
is hosted. The application was first built using pre-1.0 Rails and is
currently on Rails 2.3.4.

About Spiceworks, Inc.: We are a Tier 1 startup that is well on its
way to profitability. We have more than 800k users and are adding more
every day. Spiceworks is the first social business app and the fastest
growing IT app in history. 1 in 6 IT pros in the world use Spiceworks
and in companies with 100-250 employees (the largest SMB market),
Spiceworks is used by one in three.

Please reply to me and include a resume. Links to projects you are
working on, such as your github account, are also encouraged.

Thanks,
Justin
