The nGenera Applications Team seeks a creative, flexible, experienced
individual. We supply the core nGenera Platform (a
phsyically-distributed SOA) and Applications (several SaaS collaboration
and strategy products) that power our rapid corporate growth. We require
the best talent for that mission.

Description:



The nGenera Applications Team seeks a creative, flexible, experienced
individual to help grow our Applications business. We supply the core
nGenera Platform that powers our rapid business growth and require the
best talent for that mission. 

 

Your responsibilities and challenges will include:
Designing, and implementing a physically-distributed, SOA software
system. Constructing, testing and deploying software components for this
system in Ruby and/or Java. You will spend no less than 85% of your time
in this capacity. This system will have traditional SOA Characteristics.
Integrating the nGenera Platform with existing and future SaaS
applications 
Researching and supporting latest standards concerning Web Services and
SOA applications
Collaborating with our Product Management Team defining product features
and requirements 
Researching and prototyping widget-based user interfaces compatible with
MSN Live, iGoogle, Facebook, and others

Skills and Experience: 
6+ years software product engineering, 8-10+ years preferred
Familiarity and paid experience with multiple programming languages
required
Experience with SaaS applications or SOA systems a plus 
Familarity with Javascript/AJAX client development a plus
Experience with Ruby, Smalltalk, or Python a plus
A Computer Science degree would be handy
