Ruby Developer with Quality Assurance Capabilities (6-10 experience yrs)
Start By: 6/23/08
Contract to perm opportunity with a great company.
$40.00-48.15/hr (flexibility for the right candidates)

Job Specifics

 *   Develops and maintains test specs, test cases, test scripts and test data based upon business reqs.
 *   Implements continuous improvement principles in test standards and processes.
 *   Executes and communicates test results and participates in release decisions.
 *   Able to work effectively across cross-functional teams or alone.
 *   Experience with designing and developing automated tests and test frameworks is a MUST.
 *   Front and Backend test experience is required, particularly in web based and back office apps.
 *   Experience with iterative development processes is a must.
 *   Agile Development experience is a plus, including continuous integration principles and test driven development.
 *   Testing of financial applications is a big plus.

Required:

 1.  Bachelor's in Information Science (or equivalent).
 2.  5+ yrs of SQA experience working in multiple projects and highly complex environments.
 3.  Candidate must have experience in test automation.

Ideal candidate has the following programming language experience:

 1.  Ruby/WATIR
 2.  Java
 3.  .NET
 4.  Fitnesse
 5.  Selenium
 6.  4GL/Informix
 7.  SQL
