OneSpot has an immediate opening for a Senior Developer position.
Interested candidates should have significant experience building
web-based applications using Ruby on Rails and related technologies.

OneSpot mines content from around the web to find the best possible
content for specific communities of interest. We help content creators
find a bigger audience and web publishers to become the "one spot"
their readers need to go to find the best content. We are funded by a
stellar group of angel investors and have a growing base of happy
customers.

This is a leadership position in a small but quickly growing company,
with many opportunities to make independent decisions and influence
the future of the organization.  If you would like to be a part of a
focused senior team and develop something useful and meaningful, then

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits and stock
options, reporting to the CTO.

Requirements:
- minimum 5 years professional web development experience
- significant Ruby on Rails development experience
- skill at solving problems and getting things done
- team-oriented and a pleasure to work with
- Unix/Linux environment experience

- Hadoop/MapReduce
- PostgreSQL
- JavaScript, CSS, HTML / AJAX
- Lucene/Solr
