Description:
Web design agency is seeking Ruby on Rails developers for on-site work  
in Austin, TX. Medical benefits paid as well as options for 401k with  
full time commitment. We are looking for long term employees who want  
to do cutting edge Ruby work for some of the largest clients using  
Ruby right now. All positions are full-time 9am-5pm however we are  
also open to contract employees for the right candidate.

Requirements:
Applicants should possess an awesome understanding of the web, from  
both a programming and design perspective. We need you to be more of a  
programmer than a designer, but we also need to know that you have  
maintained core concepts in web design from past positions, and that  
you are a go-getter when it comes to developing complex Content  
Management System based websites.

Must have:
1 year experience developing web-based applications
Javascript, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, cross-browser compatibility
Fluent in at least one of: PHP, .NET, Java,
Required Knowledge: Ruby on Rails
Knowledgeable in MySQL and SQL query language (ability to write SQL  
queries), object oriented programming

Familiar with:
REST architecture, agile development, Subversion

A plus:
Linux, Apache, Mongrel, SEO practices

Non-technical:
Ability to translate client specs into professional applications and  
sleek user interfaces
Work well in team setting or independently
Self starter, eager to learn new technologies and bring fresh ideas to  
the table
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
