Web Development Guru -  ROR

Responsibilities:
* Collaboratively design and develop Object-Oriented code
* Integrate with cross-functional agile team (dev/QA/DB/ops)
* Optimize application performance
* Write and maintain unit tests

Desired Skills:
* Experience with large-scale Ruby/Rails applications, optimization  
of Ruby Code and DB access, scaling strategies, etc.
* Knowledge of web server configuration for such applications,  
specifically nginx and mongrel, along with load- and performance-testing
* Good unix/linux admin skills -- knowledge of Xen setup a plus
* TDD
* OOP/MVC
* Javascript/DHTML
* MySQL
* Detail oriented
* Understanding of multivariate testing and optimization
* (and finally) Expertise in user-level functional test design and  
testing of web applications (e.g., Selenium)

Education/Experience:
* BA/BS CS/Math/Engineering
* Thirst for knowledge
* Creative eye
