Description: 	

We are looking for an experienced software developer with a solid
background in building web-based applications.

The job will consist of development of new projects in Ruby / Rails.
An ideal candidate would already have built at least one significant
application in Rails, but candidates that have built significant
projects in Perl, Java, Python, etc would be considered if they are
have a strong motivation and ability to learn Ruby and Rails (that is,
hit the ground really running)
Required Skills: 	

• BSCS or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years experience developing web-based applications or some
combination of web and other application development
• Experience in building LAMP web-based applications (not just a
simple website) in either Java, Perl, Python or Ruby.
• very familiar with Linux as a development and deployment envronment
• Very comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Reasonable knowledge of SQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Rigorous and detail-oriented

Desired skills: 	

• Familiarity with unit testing and any automated testing tools /
methodologies a plus
